Making it easy to buy crypto for the first time for anyone in the world

Okcoin is where anyone can buy crypto. I re-designed the end-to-end customer onboarding flow from. Post-redesign, there was a notable increase in people moving their money to Okcoin.

OKX is among the largest crypto exchanges in the world. We asked new-to-crypto customers how they navigate new fintech apps. I'm leading design for a customer-centric onboarding experience.

OKX exchange serves over 100K MAU. The CEO observed competitors motivated people to signup with rewards and nudges. I co-led this design update and tracked its performance.

An in-app rewards experience that's actually worth sharing

Customers struggled to spread word about Okcoin through the app. As a solution, I led a redesign of the entire referrals experience. Post-update, the customer support team reported significantly fewer monthly referrals-related tickets.

As a designer I get to learn about people from all walks of life and some of the challenges they face day-to-day. This is the most rewarding part of design and my work.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, taking care of my bonsai and plants, and watching YouTube on anything from fashion to food science.
